Art exhibition
Join us to witness a unique art exhibit curated by Rucha Benare with her team at the collective Muse Ex Machina from Dublin, Ireland. Enjoy this unique collection of artworks scientifically exploring the mechanics of life. From engaging impasto paintings expanding on stress-strain plots to study the biomechanics of spine, to Turkish music exploring the gait analysis to study healthy vs disease states of the human body. The collection can be viewed on Levels E and EO in the Main ETH Building. Expect poetry, mechatronics, sculptures, and more!
Muse Ex Machina, is a space for artists, scientists, makers, and enthusiasts (everyone) to come together and explore art and biomechanics in a fresh exciting way! They intend to help the transdisciplinary research factions in academia and outreach by combining art and science to mainly explore problems under biomechanics, improve physical and mental well-being, and overall foster a healthy scientific community. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to them via their social media accounts!
